The reason is that the producer Prasad sold the film to RR Movies Venkat at Rs 30 Cr. Obviously Prasad feels no pain in promoting it. He is only Venkat who has to promote now. But he is not bothering at all. What could be the reason?
When probed into the details it’s revealed that RR Venkat is busy in producing ‘The Buinessman’ with Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath in Mumbai. Although, it’s kept under wraps, even Hindi version is also being made by Venkat with Abhishek Bachchan in Mahesh Babu’s place. Hence the location is fixed to be in Mumbai. That is going to be the hugest budget flick in two languages of about Rs 90 Cr for RR Venkat who is worth more than Rs 50,000 crore. He is not considering Rs 30 Cr investment as big thing to promote. Above that he is not bothered to see big profits out of ‘Oosaravelli’. Sources say that he is even planning to project some losses to IT department if Oosaravelli fails.
So, if it becomes a hit with the content power, it’s a plus. Even though it fails it’s a plus for Venkat for his projections at IT. So, the fate of Oosaravelli is in the hands of almighty now!!!
