What If Social Media Was There In 1995?

There have been a number of negative reports and cartoons against late N T Rama Rao in 1995 to justify Chandrababu Naidu’s coup.

Eenadu and Andhra Jyothi led the campaign against NTR, particularly blaming Lakshmi Parvathi as the reason.

The stories and cartoons projected Lakshmi Parvati as evil, villain and NTR as hapless old horse.

The campaign against NTR and Lakshmi Parvathi was part of Chandrababu Naidu’s conspiracy to take over the TDP from its founder NTR.

There was no other media to support NTR and point out Chandrababu Naidu’s selfish and power-hungry coup.

Looking at the social media role these days, particularly in exposing the motivated reports of Eenadu and Andhra Jyothi, one wonders what if late NTR had the social media support those days!

Going by the way the social media activists are exposing Chandrababu Naidu, Ramoji Rao of Eenadu and Radha Krishna of Andhra Jyothi these days, it is for sure that NTR would have been saved from Chandrababu Naidu’s backstabbing.

The social media might have stood by Lakshmi Parvathi being victimised by Chandrababu Naidu, Ramoji Rao and Radha Krishna.

The hapless woman might have been protected and evil-minded Chandrababu Naidu might have been exposed, as is being done these days!

Had there been social media in those days, the history would have been different now and NTR would have lived his full life is what people who have seen those days and still watching politics these days observe.

The cartoons that Ramoji Rao carried in his Eenadu would have received even worst form against Ramoji and Chandrababu if one goes by how the social media activists are responding to the TDP chief and the media baron.
