The double murder case in Madanapalle involving the death of two sisters Alekhya and Sai Divya and the accused being their parents Purushottam and Padmaja is taking different turns and twists.
The latest came from Rajini, a lawyer by profession and a former student of Purushottam.
Sharing her thoughts with the media, Rajini spoke many things which included occultism, spending months together in Kashi and going naked for attaining certain divine powers.
She also mentioned that Purushottam and Padmaja may not be at fault as they are highly educated and they have been influenced by some other force.
Not stopping at that, Rajini also mentioned how she has learnt all these magic powers and her spiritual energy ensures that no man can harm her in any way.
She is reiterating that the accused couple is religious but they are not so mad that they would do something like this. At the same time, she also endorsed the fact that black magic, evil spirits do exist and measures must be taken to curb them.
She is strongly advocating that girls should learn all these powers to protect themselves and that’s how Alekhya learnt all these things to protect her sister.
After seeing the interview given by Rajini, the netizens have gone berserk. They are coming down on her quite heavily and criticizing, condemning her statements.
The unanimous opinion coming from everyone is that in a world where science and technology is ruling the roost, people like Rajini who are promoting superstitious beliefs are certainly poisoning the young minds.
For now, authorities state that the mental condition of both Purushottam and Padmaja is not normal so the double murder issue still remains a mystery.
