A young techie couple from Telangana died by suicide in a tragic incident at their apartment in Bengaluru.
According to reports, Bhanu Chander Reddy Kunta (32), a software engineer from Siddipet in Telangana, allegedly died by suicide on Monday by hanging himself inside a room in their apartment.
His wife, Bibi Shaziya Siraj (31), who was also a tech professional and reportedly worked with IBM, is said to have found the room locked from inside.
When Bhanu did not respond despite repeated knocking, she alerted the apartment security staff and neighbours.
After the residents reportedly forced open the door, Bhanu was found dead inside the room.
In a shocking turn of events, just minutes later, Shaziya allegedly jumped from the 17th floor of the same residential complex and died on the spot.
Police have registered two separate cases of unnatural death based on complaints filed by their family members in Telangana.
Investigators are currently probing the circumstances that may have led to the tragedy.
Officials are said to be examining possible health concerns, relationship issues, and emotional distress, while also waiting for the post-mortem reports for further clarity.
