Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 has created a massive sensation at the Indian box office, achieving a historic milestone.
The film has now officially entered the ₹1,000 crore club in India, becoming the first Bollywood film ever to reach that mark at the domestic box office.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has maintained a phenomenal run not just in Hindi, but also across its dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, continuing to draw strong footfalls despite competition from regional releases.
According to early trade estimates, Dhurandhar 2 collected around ₹24–26 crore net in India on Day 17.
This marks a solid jump from its third Friday collection, which was estimated to be around ₹22.5 crore.
With this, the film’s total India net collection is expected to be in the range of ₹1,007.5 crore to ₹1,009.5 crore.
This is a truly historic achievement.
With this feat, Dhurandhar 2 has become not only the first Bollywood film to cross ₹1,000 crore in India, but also just the third Indian film overall to achieve the milestone — after Baahubali 2 and Pushpa 2.
After posting explosive footfalls during its first two weeks, a slowdown in the third week was expected. But even with the natural drop, the film has impressively managed to sustain a ₹20 crore-plus run even in its third weekend, which is no small achievement.
On its third Saturday, Dhurandhar 2 also registered the second-highest collection in that phase of its run.
However, it still stayed below the benchmark set by the original Dhurandhar, which reportedly holds the record with an impressive ₹33.5 crore on the comparable day.
At this pace, Dhurandhar 2 is not just continuing its blockbuster run — it is now rewriting Indian box office history.
