Lokesh To Stay In Delhi For Some More Time

TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh is expected to prolong his stay in the national capital. He will be engaging with Supreme Court advocates to discuss the filing of a quash petition in the apex court.

Following the dismissal of the quash petition by the AP High Court, the TDP is now planning to approach the Supreme Court on the same matter. Lokesh is currently in consultation with senior advocates to prepare the petition.

Advocates led by Siddhartha Luthra are collaborating with Lokesh on the petition to be presented to the Supreme Court. However, local sources suggest that Lokesh is avoiding visits to Andhra Pradesh out of fear of potential arrest by the CID.

The CID has named Lokesh in various cases, including the Skill Development scam, inner ring road alignment, fiber grid, and others. It appears that Lokesh is apprehensive about arrest, which is why he is choosing to remain in Delhi.

It remains to be seen how long he will stay away from Andhra Pradesh, especially considering his responsibilities within the party in light of his father Chandrababu Naidu's arrest.
