JC quits politics, not joining BJP!

At last, senior Telugu Desam Party leader from Anantapur and former MP J C Diwakar Reddy announced that he was quitting active politics forever.

JC, who spoke to media at his residence in Tadipatri on Monday, declared that he was not going to be in politics hereafter.

“I am quitting politics permanently. I won’t either do or speak on politics from now on,” he said.

The former MP denied reports that appeared in a section of media that he was going to resign from the TDP and joining another party.

“These are all baseless reports. I am not joining any other party. In fact, I am not going to be associated with any party,” he said.

JC, who used to make sharp attack on YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy till the recent elections, clarified that he had no personal rivalry with Jagan whatsoever.

“I never have any hatred towards Jagan. He is our leader. I sincerely hope Jagan will give a clean and efficient governance to the state. It is also a pleasant experience to see Jagan maintaining cordial relationship with the Narendra Modi government at the Centre,” he said.

On the violent incidents between the TDP and YSRC workers in Anantapur after the elections, Jagan said such petty clashes were quite common whenever a new government was formed.

Surprisingly, JC gave full compliments to the police, unlike in the past when he used to make abusive comments against them.

“I appreciate the police who are doing a very efficient job,” he said.
