Jagan got 'assurance' from Modi on CBI cases!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy looked visibly very happy while he was coming out from the Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirumala after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.

Jagan had a closed door meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for about ten minutes at the Guest House.

Modi was in Tirumala on Sunday to have darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. Modi had darshan of the Lord along with Jagan and Governor ESL Narasimhan.

After darshan, Modi left to his room in Padmavathi Guest House.

According to YSRCP sources, Modi called Jagan to his room for a meeting following which Jagan rushed to meet Modi.

Sources said Modi praised Jagan a lot for dealing a huge blow to his arch political rival N Chandrababu Naidu in recent Assembly polls.

Modi recalled how Naidu made attempts to forge a Third Front with Congress, Left and regional parties during recent LS polls and dethrone BJP from power at the Centre.

Modi reportedly offered to help Jagan on any issue and inquired him whether he was facing any major problems after becoming CM.

At this point, Jagan is learnt to have raised the issue of how is being hounded by CBI cases that were filed against him due to the conspiracy of TDP and Congress after he left Congress and launched YSRCP.

Jagan told him that he was being harassed to attend CBI court every Friday, which he has been doing for the last three years, though none of the cases were proved against him since 2012.

Jagan told Modi that it will very embarrassing for him to visit court every Friday as CM, that too in a neighbouring state in Hyderabad, which will unnecessarily attract national attention.

Jagan said this will unnecessarily give scope for TDP and Naidu again to criticise him and defame him, if he attends court as CM every Friday and may give scope for TDP to gain ground again in AP by taking up agitation programmes against him.

Jagan urged Modi to help him at least by giving exemption from attending court every Friday and he is ready to face all the cases in court, which are politically-motivated.

Modi reportedly assured Jagan not to worry about CBI cases as he will take care about them and asked him to provide good governance in AP and not give any scope for TDP or Naidu to bounce back again.

Following this, Jagan left from the guest house in a very happy and upbeat mood.

YSRCP leaders are confident that Jagan will no longer be required to attend CBI court every Friday following Modi's assurance.
