Netizens Playing With 'Adipurush' Again

Netizens Playing With 'Adipurush' Again

There's an adage that goes, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." It means that even with good intentions, our actions may lead to disastrous consequences.

The team behind 'Adipurush' received heavy criticism from all over the world for their poor VFX when they released their first trailer.

There was no word from them for quite some time, but the makers claimed they were reworking the film to improve it.

However, when they finally released a new still, people were shocked to see that nothing had changed. The long wait had made fans lose interest in the project.

"If they had no intention of changing anything, they shouldn't have taken so much time and given false hopes. They have disappointed us to the core," wrote a fan.

Adipurush, featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has become a hot topic as it is set to make its global debut at the prestigious Tribeca Festival in New York on June 13.

Kriti Sanon made the announcement on Instagram, expressing her excitement by stating that she was "beyond thrilled."

The festival organizers have also unveiled a promotional video showcasing the film lineup, including clips of Adipurush.

They also texted, “We're thrilled to announce the feature film lineup for the 2023 Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX! 109 films by 127 filmmakers representing 36 countries, plus notable films directed by Chelsea Peretti, David Duchovny, Steve Buscemi, and more.”

Fans have taken notice of the changes in the color grading and VFX after the backlash the teaser received last October. Social media users have been commenting on the improvements and sharing screenshots from the video.

One user commented, "Adjusting the brightness and warmness of the colors doesn't necessarily improve the VFX and CGI, does it?"

Another user pointed out the change in color tone, and some others have raised concerns about the film's creative choices.

A netizen wrote- “The way #Adipurush marketing team is promoting new and improved teaser VFX is laughable and sad as they don't take account for what they made! There is huge difference in colour grading and improved VFX but what about creative choices they made?”

Some have expressed their skepticism about the film, with one comment stating that it may be a "disaster in the making."

Nevertheless, Adipurush, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh, will release in five Indian languages, namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, on June 16.
