Recently, a photo of an American couple's personal library, boasting an impressive collection of around 32,000 books, went viral on the internet, leaving users in awe.

The photo was shared by American archaeologist and writer, Kathleen O'Neal Gear, on Twitter. It shows her well-maintained personal library, complete with neatly stacked books.

In her tweet, she captioned the post saying, "Our personal library has about 32,000 books. I guess other people bought cars and boats..."

The post quickly gained traction, accumulating over two million views and 44,500 likes on the microblogging platform. It was also retweeted by around 3,000 users.

Many users expressed their admiration for the impressive collection, with one user commenting, "I am both proud and humbled by this!"

Another user added, "Wow, now THAT is a personal library." Some users also shared their own personal libraries and book collections.

One user quipped, "Yeah, I have about the same number. On my Kindle. And I can take it with me just about anywhere... and I still have space for all my stuff."
