The theme of the film is old. The film 'Seetha Rama Raju' may flash on mind if it is made in serious mode. Since the treatment is given with comedy and humor, the film stood independent as 'Dhee'.

Story

Srinivasa Rao aka Bubblu (Vishnu) is a shrewd guy but wanders aimlessly. His father is more concerned about him and hence places him at Shankar Goud (Sri Hari), an old city Dada.

Shankar Goud relies many times on Babblu's intelligence and shrewdness. Many times Babblu saves Shankar Goud with his brain. He also says that he first uses brain and then uses brawn only when it is required. Babblu falls in love with Shankar Goud's sister (Genelia). How Babblu wins his love makes rest of the film. It's all the game of screenplay that made the film interesting although sounded old in style some times.

Performances

Vishnu did his best. He is better than that of his previous films. But still punch is dialogue delivery is lacking. It would be fine if he reduces some weight.

Genelia is good and she aptly grooved in her role.

Sri Hari forms the major attraction in the film. His Telangana diction is very good and perfectly in tune with the requirement of the character.

Jayaprakasha Reddy's action in peculiar role brings laughs.

Sunil and Brahmanandam are the real rib ticklers in the film.

Other characters are just ok.

Music is just average. Chakry might have given more catchy tunes. Visual effects are good and editing made its professional mark.

Srinu Vaitla is successful in narrating this simple line with effective screenplay.

Good things to talk about:

Screenplay

Treatment

Visual Effects

Things not up to the mark:

Music

Overdose Element:

The scene in which Vishnu traces out the location of Genelia by consulting Electricity Board sounds unnatural. That act may not be accomplished within one hour!!!

Analysis:

The first half of the film runs active with comedy and closes with suspense. But even the second half has comedy in it.

The film should be watched for its treatment. There is no scene that makes the audiences feel discomfort or bore or over sentimental. Everything goes light and made as a hilarious action flick.

The fate of this film depends on the publicity. If it is promoted well, chances are there for audiences to come to theatres.
