RGV Wanted to Be an Auto Driver!

RGV Wanted to Be an Auto Driver!

Ram Gopal Varma has made a surprising revelation about his childhood dream.

In a recent post, RGV said that when he was around 10 years old, he wanted to become an auto-rickshaw driver, not a filmmaker.

The reason, he said, was simple; he was fascinated by the “vrooom-vroom” sound of the auto engine.

As he grew older, his dreams kept changing. At one stage, he wanted to live in a forest. Later, he thought of becoming an engineer. Eventually, he found his way into cinema.

RGV also said that books and films played a big role in shaping his thinking.

He mentioned writers like James Hadley Chase and Frederick Forsyth, along with films like The Sound of Music, The Exorcist, and The Godfather as major influences.

At the same time, he also revealed that instead of working on the next Sarkar film, he is now focusing on a new project titled Syndicate.

The film is based on a dark idea — what if law and order in India completely collapses in just one day?

According to RGV, Syndicate will be like a horror film without ghosts, showing the frightening side of human nature.

From wanting to drive an auto to making intense films, RGV’s journey has clearly been anything but ordinary.
