Ram Gopal Varma has been heaping praise on the "Dhurandhar" franchise for the past few months.
After watching the first part, he lauded Aditya Dhar’s narrative style and even predicted that "Dhurandhar 2" would smash records and create a sensation in Indian cinema. As things stand now, the film is indeed living up to that expectation.
Taking his admiration a step further, RGV recently announced that he will be directing a new film titled "Syndicate", inspired by Aditya Dhar’s style of storytelling.
He stated that while he made films like "Shiva", "Satya", and "Sarkar" drawing inspiration from legendary Hollywood filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, he now intends to take cues from Aditya Dhar.
Amid this, the latest buzz in film circles is that Aditya Dhar himself might produce a film directed by RGV under his B62 Studios banner. Interestingly, Aditya Dhar is known to be a fan of RGV’s classics like "Shiva" and "Satya".
There is also speculation that Yami Gautam, Aditya Dhar’s wife, could be involved in the project, both as an actor and in a production role.
However, there is no official confirmation regarding this collaboration yet.
Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma has shifted his base from Hyderabad to Mumbai and is actively working on Bollywood projects.
