Why was Dasari silent on Chiru family crisis?

The Srija-Sirish Bharadwaj eloping episode has created a lot of sympathy for Megastar Chiranjeevi, so much so that every politician, irrespective of the party affiliation, called on him or called him on phone to express their moral support to him.

Except Union Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayana Rao, who ruled the Telugu film industry for over three decades. It was rather surprise for the political observers in the State, as Dasari is very close to Chiranjeevi and is one of those who desperately tried to bring the latter into to the Congress fold. And if Chiranjeevi wants to establish a new party, Dasari would extend all support to the him.

So, why did Dasari avoided Chiranjeevi in this hour of crisis? Sources in New Delhi say, it was Dasari who had extended all help to Srija in New Delhi and blessed the new couple. Srija requested Dasari to mediate with her father and settle the issue. So, for the time being, Dasari preferred to remain silent, since it would unnecessarily become a big news for the media. And when everything becomes quiet, he would take up the issue with Chiru, sources say.
