Housefull 5 Vulgarity: U/A Rating Sparks Outrage

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has shocked the nation by giving a U/A rating to Housefull 5, which has become a topic of widespread discussion.

The film reportedly contains vulgar language, double meanings, and offensive terms — such as referring to "nipples" as "switches"—sparking outrage.

What’s even more surprising is that the film stars actors who are widely loved by family audiences, and it has been promoted as a comedy entertainer, attracting many families with children.

"How embarrassing would it be to watch such crap with family members?" lamented one netizen.

On the other hand, there’s another perspective being shared online.

A user pointed out that a U/A rating means it’s up to the parents to decide whether their children should watch the film, as it requires parental guidance.

Therefore, blaming the censor board after choosing to bring children based on certain expectations may not be entirely fair, they argue.

However, many netizens insist that the film should have been given an 'A' rating. That would have clearly indicated the presence of adult content — at least in terms of dialogues — so parents could avoid taking their children to see it.
