TRS Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav participated in the dharna organised by the TRS against the Centre.
Where did they hold the dharna?
At Dharna Chowk near Indira Park, the very place which the TRS blacklisted as the opposition parties were frequently criticising his government from there.
“We did not try to remove Dharna Chowk. We only had to take action because the locals complained that they were being inconvenienced,” said Srinivas Yadav.
It’s a classic example of the TRS doublespeak in action yet again. If the locals are being inconvenienced, then why did the TRS hold the dharna there?
They could have chosen some other venue? Or is it that the locals are facing a problem only with non-TRS meetings there?
