Mahavatar Narsimha Rules Box Office 2nd Weekend

Mahavatar Narsimha Rules Box Office 2nd Weekend

Ashwin Kumar’s animated mythological film Mahavatar Narsimha is enjoying a strong box office run, showing housefuls in several cities even after nine days of its release.

The film has collected over Rs 52 crore nett in India and Rs 62 crore gross in just over a week, with around Rs 7 crore added on Friday alone. Saturday and Sunday are already full houses in many multiplexes across the nation.

Though it opened modestly with Rs 2 crore on Day One, the film gained momentum due to positive word-of-mouth and support from families.

It has attracted large audiences in both Telugu and Hindi markets, with around 42 percent and 30 percent occupancy respectively.

Despite being a mythological animated film, a genre with limited reach in India, Mahavatar Narsimha has surprised many with its popularity.

Good animation, engaging storytelling, and mythological depth have helped it connect with viewers across regions.

Even with new films releasing, it is expected to perform well in its second weekend. As of now, it is the most successful Indian animated films ever.
