Alert: T-Election Affect On Hyderabad Real Estate

The history of Hyderabad's real estate has never been too volatile. However, in this election season, many real estate experts are predicting severe ups and downs if BRS fails to form the government with an absolute majority.

It is known that the core focus of BRS governments has been only on West Hyderabad.

On the other hand, Revanth Reddy has announced that his party, if it comes to power, would focus on the Rachakonda area and develop the region towards Ramoji Film City and beyond on the Vijayawada Highway. This would result in a sudden shift from West to East in Hyderabad, significantly impacting ongoing projects in the West.

Furthermore, there is an assumption that the present Congress, if it forms the government, would not focus much on development as the treasury may not be sufficient to deliver on the manifesto promises. This fear is also affecting Hyderabad realtors.

Real estate stability is expected if BRS forms the government again, and the situation would experience major hiccups if Congress forms the government, but everything is anticipated to settle down soon. However, if Congress wins and internal party conflicts arise over the CM chair, real estate is expected to witness significant plunges, according to a realtor.

"A stable government, a wise CM, and development-oriented governance are essential for real estate growth," said a realtor.

Some realtors are pointing to the example of Bengaluru, where real estate suffered a severe drop during Congress' rule.

In short, it is a testing time for property values in Hyderabad, and we have to wait and see what unfolds from December 3rd onwards.
