TDP To Lose Lone Telangana MP Seat To TRS!

TDP To Lose Lone Telangana MP Seat To TRS!

Telugu Desam Party, which has almost been vacated in the Telangana with 12 of its 15 MLAs joining the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi, is all set to lose its lone MP seat.

According to latest reports, TDP MP from Malkajgiri and noted educationist Malla Reddy is most likely to join the TRS very soon.

He declared openly the other day that there is no alternative to the TRS in Telangana and that he had realised this fact after the outcome of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.

Malla Reddy stayed away from the TDP’s Mahanadu at Tirupati where the Telangana TDP leaders boasted of winning 90 Assembly seats in Telangana in 2019 elections.

Everybody knows how Malla Reddy got the TDP ticket in 2014 elections and how he won the Malkajgiri seat which is dominated by Seemandhra settlers. Since the same Seemandhra people voted for the TRS in GHMC polls, he has realised that he would not win the seat again in 2019, unless he jumps into the TRS.

And in any case, he has to shell down money to get the party ticket, whether it is TDP or TRS. So, why not a winning party?
