TDP MP's Dramatics Fail To Fetch Special Status!

Telugu Desam Party MP from Chittoor N Sivaprasad has come from film industry and hence, he does all kinds of make-up to entertain the people; but his dramatics were of no use before the stubborn attitude of the NDA government headed by Narendra Modi in denying special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

The other day, Sivaprasad went to Parliament in the attire of Swami Vivekananda. He said he had sported the attire of Vivekananda only to bring awareness to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the burning issue of special category status.

“Both Vivekanda and Modi have Narendra in their names. So, I wanted to attract his attention towards AP problems,” he said. Yet, Modi remained unmoved.

A couple of days before, Sivaprasad sported the attire of former President A P J Abdul Kalam stating that he wanted to gain inspiration from him.

During the days of state bifurcation, too, the TDP MP sported different make-ups: once as a widow to convey the message that after bifurcation, AP would be like a widow; on another occasion as Potti Sriramulu; then as Satya Harishchandra and also as Lord Srikrishna.

He also sported the attire as Narada once. Inspite of all these characters, Sivaprasad could not prevent the bifurcation of the state!
