In October, 20177, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stunned one and all when he went and met Ramoji Rao at the latter’s residence.
It was a real surprise as it is public knowledge that Ramoji Rao is a hated rival of the YSR family. But, with the advent of the BJP at the Centre and the pending cases against him, YS Jagan put the past behind him and met Ramoji Rao who wields a lot of influence at the Centre as well.
However, his overtures to Ramoji Rao seemed to have failed judging by the recent developments with the ED naming Bharati also in the charge sheet.
With elections round the corner, the TDP seems to have upped the ante against Jagan and naturally, Ramoji Rao has decided in favour of his community’s interests rather than help Jagan.
What is significant is the fact that Jagan during his Padayatra a few days back had referred to Eenadu as the mouthpiece of TDP and immediately, the ED has named Bharati.
So, it’s back to square one for Jagan and Ramoji.
