Float new party, prove your worth, Mr Naidu!

After keeping silent for a few days, former minister and Telangana leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu, who was expelled from the Telugu Desam Party recently, was once again at his vitriolic best in attacking TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Mothkupalli said Naidu had no moral right to hold the reins of the TDP, which was founded by his father-in-law N T Rama Rao.

“Naidu has usurped the party from NTR by resorting to back-stabbing and since then, has been forcibly sending all the NTR loyalists out of the party one after the other,” he alleged.

He challenged that if Naidu had so much confidence on his ability and popularity, he should resign from the TDP, hand over the party to NTR’s family members and launch a new political party.

“If you have guts, you should float a new party like YSR Congress party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan to prove your worth. They have proved their identity and so, you, too, should prove your individual strength, rather than basking in the glory of NTR,” Mothkupalli said.

Accusing the chief minister of of using party leaders for his needs and ignoring them later, Mothkupalli said Naidu only craved for power and would resort to any conspiracy to protect his power.

“He had cheated Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and Harikrishna after becoming the chief minister in the past. And now, he has cheated me,” he said.
