Watch: Naidu, TDP exposed in Amaravati deals

Amaravathi: The ruling YSR Congress had exposed the opposition TDP in the Assembly on Amaravati deals.

The Assembly took up short discussion on Capital Amaravati project on Tuesday.

Leader after leader, starting from former Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao to Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath narrated how and why Chandrababu Naidu left Hyderabad, the common capital in less than one year.

The insider trading was carried out around the capital region and capital city of Amaravati with Naidu and his associates purchasing over 7000 acres at throw away price.

Buggana Rajendranadh explained in detail how the Swiss Challenge was handled by Chandrababu Naidu and how TDP swindled money in the name of Amaravati.

Chandrababu Naidu participated in the discussion and spike for one-and-a-half hours to explain his initiatives for Amaravati and development of 13 districts.

However, finance minister Buggana Rajendranath explained the land deals of the TDP leaders in and around Amaravati, for which the TDP members objected.

The TDP MLAs held protest in the Assembly demanding that they be given extra time to speak and alleging that the ruling party was misleading the House with wrong and false information.

However, Speaker Thammineni Sitaram rejected their demand leading to pandemonium in the House following which the chief minister sought the suspension of the members to run the House in order.

Following this, the Legislative Affairs minister moved the motion to suspend nine of the TDP MLAs from the House on the last day of the winter session.
