TDP Is Critical And On Ventilator Support

Telugu Desam Party, which was born in the year 1983 is critically ill and on ventilator support now. Already the party has been suffering severe blows since the last general elections and its vitals have come down drastically.

Despite heavy negative propaganda on the YSRCP Government with regard to the temple attacks, court cases and many other political stunts, TDP couldn't even procure an iota of advantage.

Though several attempts were made to tarnish the image of YSRCP, the voters have given thumping triumph to YSRCP in the recent Panchayat Elections. TDP leaders said that some moral victory belongs to them as the elections for Panchayats are not held on party symbols.

Now the Municipal and Corporation Elections were held a few days ago with party symbols across the state. The campaign of TDP supremo caught the attention of many. He tried to agitate the voters against YSRCP government by scolding them publicly.

TDP took it a prestige issue to win the corporations of Guntur, Vijayawada and Vizag as that will stand as virtual decision of the voters regarding the capital shifting issue.

But sadly, TDP couldn't win in the places they wished to win. The leadership of Chandrababu Naidu is no way helping the party. This is the worst result for TDP in the history of AP politics.

Political analysts clearly say that TDP is dying due to the lack of leadership. The plight of this party is going to be worse than that of Independent parties down the line if no changes are made with regard to the leadership immediately. Or else it can compete only with CPI and CPM, the parties that exist but never show any impact on politics.
