It has been quite some time since one has heard about former YSR Congress party general secretary V Vijay Sai Reddy, who resigned from the party and his Rajya Sabha membership early this year.
After making desperate attempts to join the Bharatiya Janata Party which proved to be futile, Sai Reddy has not been seen or heard even on social media much.
There were reports that he was trying to get back to the YSRCP, but sources said party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was not interested.
On Tuesday, Sai Reddy made a surprising comment on his social media handle X, about the just concluded Partnership Summit conducted by the Chandrababu Naidu government in coordination with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
In a way, he gave a piece of advice to Naidu on how to ground the proposals received during the Partnership Summit and explained how he was visualising the industrial development in Andhra Pradesh in the coming years.
“AP Govt. signed 613 MoUs worth Rs 13.25 lakh crore in the CII Summit. A special officer needs to be appointed to follow up these MoUs and ensure that these projects are actually grounded. A website for real-time grounding needs to be set up for transparency,” Sai Reddy suggested to Naidu.
He said only then can the government could clear the apprehensions about the purpose of such mega events.
“Even if 75% or Rs 10 lakh crore worth of projects are grounded, AP will massively transform,” he said.
Sai Reddy sounded a note of appreciation for Naidu.
“Wishing to see a future-ready Andhra Pradesh for the next generation,” he said.
