Sai Reddy a changed man, says RRR

Perhaps for the first time after staging a banner of revolt against his own YSR Congress party, rebel MP from Narasapuram parliamentary constituency Kanumuru Raghu Ramakrishna Raju had a word of praise for party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy.

Raju appreciated the way Sai Reddy behaved in a dignified manner when he had faced Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the residence of deceased actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna two days ago.

“It is a good sign and noble gesture that if two rivals face each other – whether it was at a wedding ceremony or at a death, they exchange pleasantries and call on each other, instead of turning their faces away,” he said.

The former MP said Sai Reddy had given due respect to Naidu as the former chief minister of the state.

“It is appreciable on the part of Sai Reddy to display his stature by showing due to respect to Naidu,” he said.

Finding fault with some people who made negative comments on Sai Reddy-Naidu meeting, Raju said he, too, had criticised the YSRC general secretary on social media till two months ago.

“But now, I see Sai Reddy as a changed man. I congratulate him for his decent and dignified behaviour towards the TDP chief,” he said.

Raju said even on social media, Sai Reddy was posting dignified messages, rather than abusive comments against political rivals.

“There is a sea change in his attitude on the social mediaafter he got appointed as the panel vice-chairman of the Rajya Sabha,” he said.
