Suriya’s Karuppu is now officially titled Veerabhadrudu in Telugu, with the makers also confirming its release date.
The film, directed by RJ Balaji, is set to arrive as one of the major summer attractions on May 14th.
The release-date poster showcases Suriya in a fierce, rooted avatar, dressed in a black shirt and veshti, gripping a large machete-like weapon, with an intense gaze and a bold tilak on his forehead.
Behind him, a vibrant festive backdrop unfolds, featuring decorated temple chariots, traditional ornaments, and crowds immersed in celebration.
With long summer holidays and no major releases in that particular week, Veerabhadrudu is poised for a strong box-office advantage.
Produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabu under Dream Warrior Pictures, the film features music by Sai Abhyankkar.
Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead, and the teaser has already garnered an excellent response.
With nearly a month to go for release, an aggressive promotional campaign is expected to kick off soon.
