Ramesh Hospital Is TDP Office: Ponnavolu

Ramesh Hospital Is TDP Office: Ponnavolu

The Andhra Pradesh government had openly declared Dr Ramesh Hospital as the TDP office.

Dr Pothineni Ramesh Babu of Vijayawada is a known supporter of the TDP from the beginning.

It was in his hospital a covid care centre caught fire and killed 11 patients in the first spell of Covid in 2020.

Though the government tried to take action against the hospital management and Dr Ramesh Babu, the entire TDP and its advocates team helped him uncaught and unpunished.

Whenever a TDP leader or a person supporting TDP is arrested, they are sent to the Ramesh Hospital for treatment and K Atchannaidu was one of them.

Now, when Narasapuram MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju was arrested by the CBCID, the TDP advocates swung into action and got him admitted into the Ramesh Hospital.

Reacting to this, Additional Advocate General Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy took strong objection.

He said “Ramesh Hospital is nothing but a TDP office,” Sudhakar Reddy said vehemently opposing Raju being sent there.

The government wants the defiant MP sent to the government general hospital or any other corporate hospital and certainly not Ramesh Hospital.

The government had approached the high court against the CBCID court’s decision to send Raju to the Ramesh Hospital.

It is to be seen what the High Court would say when the issue comes up on Monday.
