Pawan forced to pay 6-month rent in Gajuwaka!

With local, non-local factors playing a major role in Gajuwaka assembly segment in Visakhapatnam, actor and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan is desperate to convince the people of the constituency that he would settle down here and become a local.

Both Telugu Desam Party candidate Palla Srinivasa Rao and YSR Congress party candidate Tippala Nagi Reddy are locals and have fair understanding of the local issues. They have been strongly highlighting this factor in their electioneering.

In a bid to counter this campaign, Pawan Kalyan finally took a house on rent in Gajuwaka at Karavanipalem near Y Junction a few days ago.

The Jana Sena Party leaders announced that he would stay in this house and remain accessible for the people, if he got elected.

But what evoked suspicion among the locals was a report that Pawan had paid advance rent for the house at the rate of Rs 75,000 per month for only two months.

It led to the talk that Pawan would remain in Gajuwaka only till the declaration of assembly results on May 23 and might vacate the house, if he was defeated in the elections.

Following the talk, the landlord of the house apparently demanded that Pawan Kalyan pay advance house rent for at least six months as a security deposit.

If Pawan refuses to pay the amount, it would lend credence to the suspicion that he would vacate the house soon after the elections.

If he wins from both Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka, he would resign from Gajuwaka and retain Bhimavaram. So, he doesn’t need a house in Gajuwaka. If he is defeated from Gajuwaka, he anyway won’t need the house here.

And even if he wins from Gajuwaka, he would stay in his own house in Amaravati and will only make periodical visits to the constituency. In such a situation, he doesn’t need a rented house.

So, it is obvious that he has taken the house on rent only to hoodwink the voters that he is very local!
