Naidu performs 'yagam' to get into power!

Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu is sparing no effort to regain power in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming assembly elections, recognizing that failure to do so this time could mark the end of his political career.

Therefore, Naidu has initiated various homams and Vedic rituals to seek divine favor and blessings for his return to power in the state.

On Friday, accompanied by his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari and other family members, the TDP chief commenced the "Raja Shyamala Yagam" at his Undavalli residence to seek divine blessings ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The yagam, which involves more than 50 ritwiks (Vedic pundits), will span three days. On the first day, Naidu and Bhuvaneshwari participated in the yagam and conducted the initial prayers, with the yagam set to conclude on Sunday.

Undoubtedly, the Raja Shyamala Yagam is conducted with the aim of securing victory and attaining power, which involves diminishing the power of adversaries and empowering the performer of the yagam.

The Raja Shyamala Yagam centers around the worship of goddess Raja Matangi, beginning with a Ganapathi puja to ensure the unhindered completion of the ritual.

Interestingly, the Visakhapatnam Sarada Peetham seer Swamy Swaroopanandendra has been regularly conducting the Raja Shyamala Yagam.

He has previously conducted this ritual for YSR Congress party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Bharat Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhar Rao, both of whom experienced electoral success.

The identity of the leader guiding the Vedic pundits in conducting the yagnam for Naidu at his Undavalli residence is currently unclear, as Sarada Peetham Swamy is known for openly supporting Jagan.

In December last year, Naidu performed similar yagams following his release from jail on bail in the skill development case.

He conducted the three-day Shatachandi Parayana Ekottara Vriddhi Maha Chandi Yagam and Sudarshana Homam rituals at his residence, in addition to visiting renowned temples such as Tirumala, Kanaka Durga, and Annavaram to perform special pujas. He also observed a three-day penance, considered auspicious and potent.
