J P Nadda is 'abaddhala adda,' says KTR

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi, which has been very cautious all these days on the aggressive posture adopted by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana, seems to have decided to strike back strongly.

It was evident from the way TRS working president K T Rama Rao reacted sharply to the allegations made by Bharatiya Janata Party national working president J P Nadda that the TRS government was indulging in massive corruption in every project, particularly making reference to Rs 80,000 crore Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project.

“Who is this Nadda to talk about TRS? I never heard his name. He is not J P Nadda but is abaddhala adda (haven of lies),” KTR said.

He challenged Nadda to show evidences to prove his allegations. Otherwise, the people would teach him a fitting lesson, he said.

He reminded that several Central leaders had lavished praise on Kaleshwaram project, which was completed in a record period of three years.

“Nadda should know why the Niti Aayog authorities had appreciated the project. He should feel ashamed of making baseless allegations,” KTR said.

Referring to Nadda’s observation that the people of Telangana were not happy with the TRS government.

“If he is correct, how could the TRS win nearly 100 out of 119 seats in the assembly elections?” KTR asked.

He said the BJP cannot enact the same dramas that it had done in Karnataka.

“People of Telangana are intelligent, not innocents,” he said, and reminded that the BJP had lost deposits in 103 out of 119 Assembly seats in the recent elections.
