Brahmani: 'I Got Merit Seat In Reservation'

Nara Brahmani, the wife of Lokesh and the daughter-in-law of Chandrababu Naidu, led a candlelight protest on the streets of Rajahmundry to express her disapproval of her father-in-law's arrest. Accompanying her was her mother-in-law, Nara Bhuvaneshwari Devi.

During a press conference on this occasion, Brahmani strongly condemned the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, highlighting the greatness of his leadership.

In the course of her address, she also shared a personal anecdote, stating, "I was a beneficiary of his policies. He provided employment opportunities to young people like me. During those days, as Nara Chandrababu Naidu Garu introduced women's reservations in professional colleges, I was able to secure a merit seat."

A "merit seat" in the context of educational admissions typically refers to a seat or position in an educational institution that is allocated to a student based on their academic performance and merit, rather than other factors like quotas, reservations, or special considerations.

But Brahmani says that she got merit seat in "mahila reservation"!

When asked about this, a press reporter who took her byte said- "Only she should know the meaning of what she is speaking being Balakrishna's daughter".
