For some, the USA is the land of dreams. For K Kavitha, daughter of former Telangana CM KCR, it’s fast becoming a land of nightmares.
Currently in the US, the BRS MLC has been unceremoniously sacked as honorary president of the Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham; her last big party-affiliated post.
The humiliation comes just months after her previous American visit in May, when a leaked letter to her father set off a storm inside the party and exposed her growing rift with the BRS leadership.
Now, with her second trip abroad this year, Kavitha has lost yet another political foothold, fueling whispers that her influence in the party is vanishing fast.
For KCR, bad vastu at the Secretariat once kept him away. For his daughter, it seems every American sojourn brings fresh setbacks.
The ‘Land of Dreams’ has turned into a nightmare destination for Kavitha.
