Manjula, sister of famous Tollywood star Mahesh Babu, is known as an actress and she is more popular as the producer of 'Ye Maaya Chesave' and 'Pokiri'.

She has turned director with "Manasuku Nachindi" starring Sundeep Kishan and Amrya Dastur. Though the film didn't create much buzz with its trailers, it got attention when the news came out that Mahesh Babu's voice will be in the film as 'nature'.

Let's see whether the movie is interesting...

The parents of childhood buddies Sooraj (Sundeep Kishan) and Nithya (Amyra), arrange their wedding. Since they never saw themselves in that way other than being friends, they run away to Goa without informing their parents.

In Goa, Nithya starts teaching meditation classes and enjoys watching the beautiful nature. Sooraj, on the other hand, tries his hand at photography.

Initially, he botches up a photography assignment for an ad shoot but he discovers himself when he gets humiliated.

He starts liking Nikitha (Tridha Chowdharyy) who joins Nithya's meditation class and Nithya falls for the charms of Abbayi (Adith), the owner of Goa's guest house. What happens next is anybody's guess.

Artistes’ Performances:
This is one film where all the actors have got everything wrong. Even the lead actor Sundeep is clueless.

Heroine Amrya Dastur's expressions are utterly bad. Tridha Chowdhary provides some eye-candy moments with her bikini show. The less we talk about other actors the better.

Technical Excellence:
In the entire film, one thing that strikes is Ravi Yadav's cinematography. He has captured the nature beautifully. Since the movie is all about a girl who loves nature, he got the chance to showcase it in a poetic way.

One song "Parichayame leda" is catchy, but rest of the songs don't strike a chord.

Editor must have slept at the editing table itself. Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra are mediocre.

Out rightly boring narration
Old Story
Outdated presentation
Bad performances

Some films make the job of a viewer tough - You cannot sit through the movie and you can't runway.  Manjula Ghattamaneni's debut film is a classic example of this.

The story of two childhood buddies slowly realising that they actually love each other deeply is as old as Goa beach and it has been explored in many films including the blockbuster 'Nuvve Kaavali'. Sadly, director Manjula has not added any dimension to this clichéd story. Even sadder is that she tells this in a sleep-inducing way from the very first scene.

The much-hyped aspect of Mahesh Babu's "voice-over as nature" is just a marketing gimmick. His voice is heard in the beginning of the movie with random shots of beautiful forest, sunset and other elements of nature. It doesn't add any value to the story or screenplay.

From the first scene itself, the movie runs in clichéd and outdated manner with boring dialogues.

The first half of the movie happens in Goa with Amrya Dastur attracting Arun Adith and Sundeep Kishan enticing Tridha Chowdhary. These sequences are handled in a lousy way. Just before the interval, two songs come within a gap of two minutes, exactly two minutes.

The second half is focussed on how Sundeep Kishan realizes his love for Amrya which is told in the silliest manner.

The film never gives any respite in any manner. It is one of the most hackneyed romantic dramas.

Except for Ravi Yadav's cinematography, nothing warrants praise here. Manjula as director only showcases immaturity.

Overall, "Manasuku Nachhindi" is another forgettable movie for its hero Sundeep Kishan and for the general audiences, it gives nothing but headache.

Bottomline: Old and Stale!
