Young and talented director Prashanth Varma is introducing Zombie concept to Tollywood with his third film Zombie Reddy.
This is also claimed to be first film on Corona.
Apart from winning accolades for the intriguing title and animation posters, the title Zombie Reddy, however, is said to have hurt the sentiments of Reddy community people.
Thus, the director came up with a clarification saying he doesn’t intend to hurt anyone’s feelings.
“Zombie Reddy is an apt title. The story revolves around corona, set in Kurnool backdrop. How people of Kurnool fight against the pandemic and save the world forms crux of the story.
Most of the people liked the title Zombie Reddy. But, few have misinterpreted it. I promise you that, the film won’t hurt sentiments of any community. You will feel proud after watching the film.
While I got national recognition for my first film Awe, I will get international recognition with Zombie Reddy,” assures Varma.
The film’s lead cast will be announced soon.
