Samantha has kickstarted a new phase of her career. She is setting up new projects a brisk pace.
Sam recently joined the sets of her immediate next project Yashoda and she is currently occupied with film’s shoot.
Now, talented actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who was recently seen in Krack and Naandhi has joined the cast of Samantha’s Yashoda.
Varalaxmi has been roped in for a pivotal role in Yashoda and she will be sharing the screen with Sam. She liked the story and readily came onboard for the project. She has joined the sets as well.
Samantha is said to be mighty excited about Yashoda, which is billed to be a proper thriller. The makers had announced that Yashoda is being made with Samantha’s superstardom and image in mind.
Yashoda is a Telugu - Tamil bilingual. It will also be dubbed and released in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film is directed by director duo Hari-Harish. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is producing it under Sridevi Movies banner. The film I will be released in 2022.
