India – Two companies, The AbhayCharan Foundation and Sreejee Entertainment, have announced a collaboration on a new film titled Shri Krishna Avatar in Mahoba.
This ambitious project, being made with the blessings of His Grace Jitamitra Prabhu Sri, a senior guru at ISKCON Delhi, will depict the divine presence of Lord Shri Krishna in Mahoba during the 11th–12th centuries.
What makes Shri Krishna Avatar in Mahoba unique is its portrayal of Lord Krishna in a new light—as a warrior. Designed for a global audience, the film will be released in multiple languages. A team of leading experts is being assembled to ensure the production is visually spectacular while carrying a deep spiritual message. The story will also explore the rich history and culture of Mahoba.
Project manager Anil Vyas said, “We are very excited to share this extraordinary story. For the first time, audiences will see Lord Krishna as a warrior in a film rooted in history yet uplifting in its message. We believe people around the world will connect with it, regardless of their background or beliefs.”
The film will be written and directed by Mukund Pandey, known for bringing history alive on screen. “This is an important story to tell,” Pandey noted. “Mahoba has a profound history and spiritual significance. We want to honor that while presenting a fresh and inspiring perspective on Lord Krishna’s life.”
Shri Krishna Avatar in Mahoba is envisioned as more than just a film—it is a spiritual journey into a time of unwavering faith. The creators hope it will stand as a significant cinematic work for India, highlighting Lord Krishna’s enduring message of love, compassion, and righteousness.
