Veteran Tollywood actor Manchu Mohan Babu and his son, Manchu Manoj are learnt to have indulged in heated argument and verbal fight before the Ranga Reddy District Collector on Monday in connection with a property dispute.
According to reports, both Mohan Babu and Manoj arrived at the district collectorate at Kongara Kalan nea Ibrahimpatnam on Monday afternoon to present their versions on the property dispute.
A few days ago, Mohan Babu sent a letter through his representative, seeking protection under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act.
In the letter, he alleged that Manoj had illegally entered his residence in Jalpalli village, Balapur Mandal, and was demanding property rights.
Manoj also appeared before the additional collector of Ranga Reddy district a few days ago to explain his stance on the matter.
In the latest hearing, both Mohan Babu and Manoj presented details regarding the property dispute before the collector, who is also a district magistrate. The magistrate interrogated them for nearly two hours.
Mohan Babu complained that Manoj was illegally encroaching on his property.
"No one has any right over my self-earned property. Manoj must return my assets," he stated firmly. The magistrate has directed both parties to appear again for another hearing next week.
During the hearing, tensions ran high as Mohan Babu and Manoj engaged in a heated verbal exchange before the magistrate.
Both accused each other before leaving the Collector’s office.
While Mohan Babu openly voiced his concerns, Manoj refrained from speaking to the media and appeared visibly agitated.
