The audio launch event of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Thug Life was originally slated to take place in a grand manner on May 16th.
With the film’s first song already receiving a good response and the powerful collaboration of Kamal Haasan, director Mani Ratnam, and music maestro AR Rahman generating immense buzz, expectations for the audio launch had reached a fever pitch.
However, the team decided to postpone the launch in light of recent national concerns stemming from tensions between India and Pakistan, which have since eased following a ceasefire.
In the meantime, the makers have announced three major updates: the film’s trailer will be released on May 17, whereas a trailer and audio launch event is set to take place in Hyderabad on May 24th.
The film’s Telugu version pre-release event will happen in Vizag on May 29th, whereas the team opted for Pan India promotions.
Thug Life is gearing up for a grand release in all south Indian languages and Hindi on June 5th.
