Sources indicate that the first glimpse of the much-anticipated film Ramayana will be unveiled tomorrow on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
Ahead of the official launch, industry insiders who have seen an early preview say the footage offers a striking first look at Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama.
According to those present during the preview, Ranbir Kapoor’s appearance as Rama stands out for its grace, composure and quiet strength.
The look is said to capture the spiritual and dignified essence associated with the character, making it one of the most talked-about elements of the glimpse.
The preview is also said to feature expansive visuals supported by large-scale VFX work, along with a powerful background score composed by Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman.
The film is produced by Namit Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who are mounting the epic on a significant scale.
Ramayana is planned as a two-part cinematic event, with the first installment scheduled for release on Diwali 2026 and the second on Diwali 2027.
