Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan recently advised film producers to refrain from approaching the government individually, even for matters like ticket price hikes.
He emphasized that such concerns should be addressed collectively through official industry bodies like the Film Chamber.
However, producer C Kalyan has expressed a differing view.
Speaking on the ongoing strike by film industry employees, he asserted that the Telugu film industry would not allow government interference in internal matters.
He also maintained that producers have the right to approach the government individually for issues such as ticket pricing.
C Kalyan further stated that organizations like the Film Chamber should not involve themselves in such dealings, directly contradicting Pawan Kalyan’s appeal for a unified approach.
