The Telugu film industry is thriving with a lot of activity – shootings and new releases. Every week, three or four noted films are competing with each other.
This weekend, we will see 11 movies hitting the screens. There is also a film directly streaming on Zee plex.
Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi’s sports drama “A1 Express”, Dil Raju produced “Shaadi Mubarak” and Raj Tarun’s “Power Play” are the only notable films among these 11 new releases.
Other small movies that are testing their luck at the box-office are Play Back, A, Vikramarkudu, Gaja Kesari, Devineni, Climax, Sri Paramananda Sishyula Katha, Thota Baavi, etc.
This huge flurry of new releases will help the theaters registering some footfalls. However, barring “Uppena” and “Krack”, none of the recent movies made money at the box-office. So, the success ratio remains low.
