Adivi Sesh is hoping to deliver another blockbuster with Dacoit. The team celebrated the film’s pre-release event with several directors, producers, and special guests gracing the occasion.
Producer Supriya Yarlagadda, who revived her father’s banner SS Creations, explained the significance of its symbols.
“The small symbols in this banner mean a lot to me- my grandfather’s panche, my grandmother’s sindoor, my daughter running ahead, my grandfather leading the way, and behind them, the music from my father’s film Gaayam.”
Sumanth stated that his sister Supriya worked incredibly hard on the film.
“For this movie, it’s Sesh’s blood, Supriya’s tears, and the entire team’s sweat. I’ve known Sesh for 15 years. More than a friend, I’m his biggest fan.”
Siddu Jonnalagadda recalled that he and Sesh began their journeys around the same time with Guntur Talkies and Kshanam respectively.
“Sesh told me it’s been three years since his last release. With this film, he has raised the standard. There is a stubborn determination within him.”
Venkatesh affirmed that Supriya produced the film with great discipline.
“When I saw Sesh in Panjaa, I felt he would become a fine actor. Every film he has done has been successful, and he has grown into a truly wonderful performer. Mrunal is incredibly special.
The moment I watched the trailer, I knew how exactly it will be like. Some trailers are just like that- clear and impactful right away. To take up a love story at this stage and blend intense action with deep emotion is commendable. I’m glad they chose this subject. It has turned out really well. Supriya, I’m very happy for you.”
Sesh thanked his friend and director Shaneil Deo, who is still working on the film to ensure timely overseas delivery.
“This film is built on Shaneil’s vision. It stands on Supriya’s support. You’ve seen my successes and failures, but in this film, you will see how much we loved making it, and how much love we want to give to the world. Rahul watched the movie and said, ‘You’ve held it together.’
Mrunal’s character will blow you away in the interval. She is the highlight of that segment. The interval hits so strongly because of Sujeeth. Dhanush changed frames as many times as needed. The trailer was cut by the Goodachari 2 director, Vinay. The BGM is by Gyaani, with additional score by Ananth. They both did not sleep for 96 hours.
