Are Chandrababu's ambitious schemes mere paper phenomena? If one goes by the nightmarish experience of this US-based NRI, the schemes are a mere eyewash and the money is being gobbled up by the TDP minions. Here are his experiences.
MV Rao an NRI was inspired by Smart Village concept and fromed a village development forum. He pooled up Rs 10 lakh from his own resources and also from his friends. He spent the money for the development of the village.
However, he is now hounded by the village sarpanch's son and his goons. His father's life is also in danger.
He began facing problems after he learnt through RTI that the money was gobbled up by the Sarpanch using fake bills.
His father has already been attacked and an SC/ST Atrocities Case has been filed against him.
We give below MV Rao's message and urge the authorities to verify and take action against the culprits. Otherwise, an ambitious scheme would go waste.

This is M.V.Rao,an NRI working in USA. I got inspired by our Smart AP program and adopted Cherukumpalem Village of Atchampeta Mandal, Guntur Dist.
As I am serious concern about my father protection, I am bringing this issue to all your notice. So far I am able to pool nearly 10L rupees from my hard Earned Money and from friends circle and started working in improving the facilities.
One of the greatest achievement was I am able to brought the whole village under one umbrella and registered it as Cherukumpalem Village Development Forum and spending every penny under that forum name.
Our village panchayath was reseved for SC women and Smt Chilaka Arogyamma got elected as Sarpanch but her son Mr Chilaka Subbarao is controlling the panchayath unconstitutionally. They failed to make any developmental activities in the village but started creating hurdles for our Voluntary development work.
Through RTI we came to know that they started making bills for the work that we have done from our own money and when Quetioned about the same, Sarpanch & Her family attacked my house late in the night (2nd January) and assaulted my mom & dad who are of 60+ years and filed SC/ST atrocity case against my father.
From past 12 months Me & My dad are working hard with various Govt agencies, govt Officials and even attending every Smart AP conference or meeting and trying to get maximum support for the Village development.
