The venue was Shubham Events Center. MLC Dr. Suresh Penmetsa who was visiting Dallas on a personal trip ensured he met YSRCP overseas family. He is the son of late Samba Siva Raju Penmetsa who holds an impeccable record of being an 8 time MLA often regarded a spotless and genuine politician. He belongs to Moida Vizianagaram district.
Inviting all to the event Raman Reddy Kristapati introduced the chief guest to the audience.
Speakers spoke at length about how Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a historical welfare wave and people of all sections are immensely happy with the progress at the state level. Speakers included Dr. Pavan Pamadurthi, Dr. Sri with Vattam, Dr. Sridhar Korsapati, Subbu Kondeddu among others. Atmacharan Reddy ex. MP also attended the event and shared his memories of late Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
Dr. Suresh Penmetsa appraised the attendees on the current political scenario of Andhra Pradesh. With his humble attitude and talk he impressed upon the activities that the Andhra Pradesh government has been implementing.
He stated that the current political activity is highly unfortunate and requested all to rise above politics and to put the state first!
He informed that YSRCP party is being accepted by all the sections of the society and will form the government the next time. He also informed that there are many business establishments vying to setup businesses in Andhra Pradesh. He requested NRIs to consider investing and be part of the growth of Andhra Pradesh.
MLC Dr. Suresh Penmetsa stated that Uttarandhra districts are under developed and mentioned that the current YSRCP government is doing everything to make sure all regions are developed uniformly. He stated the combined Vizianagaram district has many personalities who worked towards the betterment of the nation and state. He also thanked CM Y.S. Jagan for appointing him as the General Secretary of the AP Doctors wing.
Later there was a question and answer session, where the guest answered the questions from the audience.
