Wherever senior actor and Telugu Desam Party MLA from Hindupur Nandamuri Balakrishna goes, he creates a buzz — be it on screen or in public.
Even in his 60s, Balakrishna remains active, captivating audiences with his action-packed performances and signature dialogues, earning him the endearing moniker “Jai Balayya” from fans.
At the same time, Balakrishna is also a good subject for netizens to troll, for his antics and theatrics in public, besides his fumbling while delivering public speeches.
He often forgets that there is a line between reel and real life and more often than not, he becomes a subject of trolling on social media. Yet, Balakrishna doesn’t change his style.
His latest theatrics on the premises of Parliament in New Delhi on Thursday have gone viral on social media, evoking laughter and criticism from the netizens, creating embarrassing situation for him.
As Balakrishna came to Parliament, the TDP leaders presented him with a specially brought yellow bicycle, which is the TDP election symbol. Enthralled by the gift, Balakrishna attempted to ride it to pose for the photographers.
But surprisingly, Balakrishna could not ride the cycle, maybe because of his personality or he might have forgotten riding a bicycle long ago.
He tried once or twice and when he could not get on to the seat, he managed to sit on the back seat of the bicycle, and posed for photos.
Needless to say, the videos and pics quickly spread across social media and went viral, sparking mixed reactions. Some netizens mocked, “A big hero who can’t ride a bicycle?”
Others trolled, saying, “He can’t even pedal the party symbol founded by his father?” However, fans of Balakrishna took it in stride and enjoyed the light-hearted moment.
