Suspended Ninth MLA Is Jogi Ramesh!

The other day, Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana announced suspension of nine MLAs who were resorting to anti-party activities, but surprisingly he did not name those MLAs.

Everybody knows the names of eight MLAs who had already joined the YSR Congress party: Alla Nani, Sujaya Venkata Ranga Rao, Maddali Rajesh, Perni Nani, Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy, Buchepalli Sivaprasada Reddy, Gottipati Ravikumar and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and six of them had already joined the YSR Congress party, while two others are yet to do it officially.

However, what remained suspense was who could be the nine MLA. The suspense was unraveled on Saturday. Pedana MLA Jogi Ramesh came out openly and claimed that he could be the ninth MLA. Coming down heavily on the PCC president, Ramesh said it was pretty evident that Botsa was trying to unseat N Kiran Kumar Reddy as chief minister.

“I have never resorted to any anti-party activities. All that I said was if the Centre takes a decision in favour of Telangana state, I would quit the party,” he said and demanded that the PCC chief disclose the names of the MLAs who were suspended.

Ramesh, however, refused to comment on whether he would join the YSR Congress party or not.

“Let the PCC chief announce the list of suspended MLAs. If my name is there in the list, I will take an appropriate decision,” he said.
