The makers wanted to perk up some glamour touch to the movie and have roped in Tamannah for the song. She accepted to do the song for Rs 30 lakhs but she walked out when she found it impossible to adjust her dates to this movie.
Then the desperate makers approached Kajal Agarwal and she quoted high price than Tamannah. After negotiations, they have agreed to pay he Rs 50 lakhs. This is almost nearly 40 percent of her regular remuneration. For three day of work, she is getting such huge remuneration.
Since "Janatha Garage" is big film and there are lot of expectations on the movie, the producers have shelled out such hefty amount. There is also another aspect that Kajal's pairing with NTR means success. All three films she did with the Young Tiger have become successful. Hence the big amount.
