Revanth Reddy Gives Death Blow To BRS?

Revanth Reddy Gives Death Blow To BRS?

In politics, tit-for-tat occasions and opportunities often arise. However, how one responds to such opportunities can change the course of history.

Former Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR, engaged in a lot of political maneuvering by attracting MLAs from other parties to strengthen his position.

In 2014, when KCR first formed the government of Telangana, he persuaded 12 TDP, 5 Congress, 3 YCP, and 1 CPI MLAs to join his government to ensure stability.

Again in 2018, during his second term, he attracted 12 MLAs from Congress, dealing a severe blow to the national party and effectively dividing major opposition parties.

Now, the situation is reversed. Revath Reddy of Congress is the Chief Minister. If he manages to attract 26 out of the 39 TRS MLAs, it would be a significant blow to TRS.

Issues such as Kavitha's arrest and the Kaleshwaram project have tarnished the image of TRS. According to inside sources, 26 MLAs are already inclined to join Congress.

If Revanth Reddy seizes this opportunity and successfully attracts these 26 MLAs from TRS, he would strengthen his position in the state.

With no YSRCP or TDP presence in the state and the potential decline of TRS, Revanth Reddy could effectively rule the state unchallenged.

His primary opposition would then be the BJP at the center, which he could manage similarly to how he is handling the current situation.
