NTR centenary fete: No invite for Jr NTR?

The birth centenary celebrations of legendary actor and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N T Rama Rao are being held at Vijayawada on Friday evening with a lot of pomp gaiety.

The chief guest at the celebrations was Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who arrived in Vijayawada in the morning to a warm welcome from NTR’s son and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Later, they went to the residence of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu where they had a long interaction before going to the venue for the celebrations.

The entire programme is being overseen by Balakrishna and his team have made arrangements for the event. Apart from the guests, all the family members of NTR attended the event.

Balakrishna earlier shared the video message with fans by announcing the 100th birthday of iconic actor and politician NTR will be celebrated grandly on April 28.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Superstar Rajinikanth will be the chief guests at the event.

However, there is speculation doing the rounds on social media that Jr. NTR was not invited to the event. Obviously, Jr NTR fans are upset with rumours. Whether Balakrishna has not invited Jr NTR or the latter was not accessible for NTR family is not yet known.

Balayya, however, invited fans to come and take part in the celebrations.

“The NTR centenary celebrations will take place on April 28th under the chairmanship of Janardhan, and it will be celebrated as a festival. You are all invited to join us and make it a grand success with your presence,” he said.
